Christian Graphic Tees

I don't know about you, but I LOVE graphic tees! I have about 5 or 6 and I just love how easy they are to style for a casual look or even dress them up for the office! I love the cute and sarcastic sayings on most graphic tees, but I REALLY loved these Christian graphic tees when I saw them from River Tree Boutique. One of the tees even has one of my favorite Hymns on it, "It is Well." It was really hard to pick which one I wanted, but I finally decided on the "God is Faithful Feather Tee."

I saved this tee for "A Dear in Denim" Day for my #fearfullywonderfullymademaystyle challenge. I love the style and fit of the tee, but most importantly, I love the message! It says God is faithful and has the Bible verse Psalms 91:4 on it, "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler."

$20 Modest Outfit Challenge

 photo 20.jpg

I was asked by the beautiful Ashley from ModestlyHot, if I would be willing to share a modest outfit for $20 or less! Of course, I accepted the challenge (thinking it would be a walk in the park!) Let me say this, I have TONS of outfits under $20, that I have already worn...but I really wanted to wear something I've never worn before and still match my #fearfullywonderfullymademaystyle challenge! Today's challenge was Shades of the Sea, so I remembered I just bought a gorgeous mint shirt from TJMaxx last week. Here's what I came up with. Sad to say....my outfit total was $21.98! :( I TRIED and was very close!!! ;)

Patriotic Outfit Ideas

 photo ABM_1432489239.jpg

With Memorial Day tomorrow, I thought I would do a special Patriotic-themed post! I love America, and I am greatly appreciative to all who have served our country. Let's not just think this day is for cook-outs and a day off of work, but we must remember those who lost their lives so that we can be free. Memorial Day is also a day we can thank our Saviour for sacrificing his life for our freedom from Hell! Today, I am extra thankful for our soldiers and our Saviour! ♥

On Trend: JORD Wood Watches

I don't know about you, but I always forget to wear my watches! I have a couple of watches, but they are more of a fashion statement, since I use my phone to look at the time. My husband is quite the opposite though, he doesn't leave the house without one of his many watches on. So, granted he was extremely jealous when the awesome people at JORD contacted me to try out one of their new, trendy wood watches! I was so excited, I had never seen or heard of a wood watch! Of course, I chose the gorgeous Sidney Series in Maple & Rose Gold. The packaging was SO classy!

I'm SO in love with the look of wood watches! They are so unique! JORD watches are all made from 100% natural wood so they're good for the environment too. Since my husband likes it so much, I think I'm going to have to get him one for Father's Day! (Hint, hint! Great gift idea for your husband!)

I was kind of nervous about a wood watch being too "masculine", but I think it's very feminine and dainty! ♥ I am in love with it!

A Day In My L'eggs

Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow Mommies out there! This post is just for you! :)

I'm so blessed that I get to be this little man's Momma!
 photo leggs3.jpg

L'eggs asked me to do a post all about what it's like to be in the "L'eggs" of a working mom and blogger!

As moms, we can get easily overwhelmed with all of our daily responsibilities. Just think, we have to wake up, read our Bibles, make (or grab) breakfast, get our kids ready, get ourselves ready, pack lunches, try to think ahead to what we're cooking for dinner, go to work for 8 hours, pick our kids up, go home, cook dinner, clean up after dinner, do some laundry, take a shower, put the kids to sleep, spend some alone time with our husband, and then finally go to sleep to do it all over again the next day! Wow that stressed me out just typing that! HA! And to think that's my daily life!

"Christian" Social Media Wars

 photo social1.jpg

For the past couple of years, my social media feed has been FULL of "Old-time" Christians criticizing the "New-Age" Christians and "New-Age" Christians criticizing the "Old-time" Christians. The worst part of these social media wars is the fact that we are allowing these "gray areas" to distract us from the CLEAR commands of Scripture.

The will of God for EVERY saved person is to walk with God and bring others to the saving knowledge of Christ. If we are living our lives centered around those two simple truths, so much unnecessary drama would go away. The Bible clearly tells us our purpose on Earth.

"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4)

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)

 photo social2.jpg

My Pastor often says, "People are dying and going to Hell, and we're worried about...(fill in the blank with whatever is not important in eternity)" If we want the perfect will of God for our lives, we have to start with obeying the clear commandments in the Bible. Jesus himself summed up what our purpose was, "And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself." (Mark 16:15)

If we are loving God as we should, everything in our lives will be centered around brining honor and glory to Him. If we are loving our neighbors as we should, we will share the Gospel with every one we can.

This was just a thought, my husband and I have been meditating on all day today, and I felt like I should share it with my wonderful readers!

Modest Swimwear

With the summer quickly approaching, I wanted to give you ladies some modest swimwear options. One question I get A LOT is what do I wear swimming?... Well, honestly, I rarely swim in public, since both my Mom and I have our own private pools. But in the past, if I was going to the beach, I would usually just wear a normal swimsuit with a sundress over it. (And just not swim) But, it's not fun not being able to swim with the guys and kids, so I began searching for modest swimwear options. I have found two really good options, that don't look too "Hey, I'm weird, because I'm not wearing a bikini..."

One option is from HydroChic. The Inspire Swim and Sport Skirt is a great option that can be paired with any top of your own, or one from HydroChic. They sent me a Tidal Tank Sporty Sleeveless Swim n' Gym Top to try with my skirt, and I really like it! Whether for swim or the gym, this light-weight, chlorine resistant top with a back zippered pocket is breathable and wicks away moisture. I think this a great sporty option for swimwear! They have tons of colors and even have plus sizes as well!
